Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Operations to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial construction operations and management, with a focus on commercial projects. As the Director of Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our operations, including project management, budgeting, scheduling, and staff management.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement strategic plans to improve operational efficiency and profitability

- Oversee all project operations, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation

- Manage and mentor project managers, superintendents, and other staff to ensure high-quality work and adherence to project timelines

- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to ensure successful completion

- Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination

- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors

- Analyze and report on project performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions

- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies

- Manage and control project budgets, ensuring projects are completed within budget constraints

- Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment for projects

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve operations

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field

- 10+ years of experience in construction operations, with a focus on commercial projects

- Strong leadership and management skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously

- Experience with budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation

- Ability to analyze and interpret project data and make data-driven decisions

- Knowledge of construction safety regulations and best practices

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software

- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
