Founding Software Engineer

About the role

This is a full-time hybrid role as a Founding Engineer , located in New York, NY. As a Founding Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the core functionalities of the platform, from handling millions of emails a day to automating hours of manual compliance tasks down to mere seconds. You will collaborate with a talented team to design and build scalable solutions, optimize performance, and ensure the stability and security of our platform.

You wont be micromanaged or in constant meetings - were focused first and foremost on empowering each other to do our best work, and are flexible in the process to get there.

You'll be on a team that works incredibly hard and seek others excited to do the same.

Requirements

• Strong product sense, high ownership, and ability to operate autonomously
• Strong experience with React, Django and/or AWS
• Excited to join an early stage startup company and work in person.
• CS degree from a top university and/or significant work experience at a top, hyper growth startup.
• Familiarity with AI and machine learning algorithms.
• Demonstrated experience in growing, building, and scaling the codebase of high-growth startups.
• 4+ years of experience as a professional software engineer
