About the job EHS Officer
Job Requirements:
- Possess at least a Professional Certificate, Advanced Diploma, Degree, or any equivalent qualification in the field of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS).
- Candidates who are registered with the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH), have knowledge of Corporate Social Responsibility, and are familiar with ISO 14001 will have an added advantage.
- Candidate must be willing to work in Senai, Johor area.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the overall supervision of interactions with government agencies to ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental (EHS), and other legal requirements.
- Assisting in the formulation, establishment, and review of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) policies, procedures, safety operating procedures (SOPs), OSH forms, and job safety analyses (JSAs).
- Organizing, implementing, and promoting OSH programs in the workplace.
- Conducting Safety & Health Committee Meetings and workplace safety audits, and preparing meeting minutes.
- Preparing monthly Safety & Health Reports and ensuring that all potential improvements are addressed in a timely manner.
- Coordinating, monitoring, and compiling EHS information and data, analyzing reports for discussion, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
