We are now looking for a confident and motivated Sales Executive to join our established Fiat, Jeep & Alfa Romeo team at our busy Matford Way site in Exeter, representing brands that continue to lead in design, innovation, performance and heritage.

What you'll be doing

As a Sales Executive, you will be a key player in delivering an exceptional customer experience from the showroom to the handover. You will:

  • Provide a warm, friendly, and professional welcome to all customers that come through the door and over the phone.
  • Build genuine rapport to understand your customers needs - turning conversation into business.
  • Match relevant products to the needs of your customers, presenting applicable features and benefits.
  • Accurately appraise used cars offered in part exchange.
  • Organise and carry out professional and proficient demonstrations and test drives.
  • Negotiate a successful close, overcoming any objections through understanding the benefits and features of all products available.
  • Identify sources of potential new and used car customers for your franchise and business.
  • Carry out prospecting activities on a regular basis with confidence.
  • Ensure that all vehicles are presentable and ready for inspection by your customers, including your own company car.
  • Display all vehicles to brand standard with the right price and specification details.
  • Maintain your digital diary and use both our customer relationship and dealership management tools accurately and efficiently.

What we're looking for

  • Some experience as a Sales Executive within the automotive industry is preferred but not always essential, however, a passion for cars is!
  • A passion for delivering "first class" customer service
  • Confidence, enthusiasm and excellent communication skills
  • A willingness to work weekends (because that's when our customers love to shop)
  • A full UK driving licence

Salary

OTE £50,000 per annum
