What you'll be doing
As a Sales Executive at Marsh Mills, Plymouth, you will be a key player in delivering an exceptional customer experience from the showroom to the handover. You will:
- Provide a warm, friendly and professional welcome to all customers who visit the showroom or contact us by phone.
- Build genuine rapport to understand your customers needs - turning great conversations into successful business.
- Match relevant products to the needs of your customers, presenting applicable features and benefits.
- Accurately appraise used vehicles offered in part exchange.
- Organise and carry out professional and proficient demonstrations and test drives.
- Negotiate a successful close, overcoming objections through understanding the benefits and features of all available products.
- Identify sources of potential new and used car customers for your franchise and the wider business.
- Carry out prospecting activities on a regular basis with confidence.
- Ensure all vehicles are presentable and ready for customer inspection, including your own company car.
- Display all vehicles to Vauxhall brand standards with correct pricing and specification details.
- Maintain your digital diary and use both our customer relationship and dealership management tools efficiently and accurately.
What were looking for
- Some experience as a Sales Executive within the automotive industry is preferred but not essential - a passion for cars is!
- A dedication to delivering first-class customer service
- Confidence, enthusiasm, and strong communication skills
- A willingness to work weekends (our busiest times!)
- A full UK driving licence
