Are you a confident communicator with a passion for helping people? At Vospers, were looking for a Customer Advisor to be the friendly first point of contact for our customers whether they call us, walk into the showroom or reach out online.

What you'll be doing 

As a Customer Advisor at our Head Office in Plymouth, you'll play a vital role in making sure every customer has a great experience whether they're enquiring about a vehicle, a service booking or just need some direction. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing a warm, professional welcome to all walk-in, telephone and online customers.

  • Identifying customer needs and directing them to the correct department or team.

  • Answering, qualifying, and announcing calls to individuals and departments in a prompt and friendly manner.

  • Handling and forwarding messages appropriately.

  • Assigning online enquiries and leads to the relevant Sales, Service or Parts teams.

  • Managing live website chat to support customer queries effectively.

  • Taking ownership of Customer Service enquiries resolving what you can and escalating when necessary.

  • Acting as the point of contact for post and parcel deliveries.

  • Informing departments of visitor arrivals and signing in guests where applicable.

  • Assisting with customer communications and supporting marketing campaigns as required.

What we're looking for 

  • A positive, confident and approachable personality.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and organisation.

  • The ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure.

  • Comfortable using computers and online systems (experience with CRM tools is a bonus).

  • A proactive attitude to customer service and problem-solving.

Previous experience in a customer-facing or contact centre environment is preferred but not essential full training will be provided.

£12.21 per hour

Hours

Week 1: 24 hours

Week 2: 16 hours

Averaging 20 hours per week
