We are seeking a Logistics Officer to oversee and optimize our supply chain processes, ensuring the timely delivery of products and adherence to regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in logistics, supply chain management, and customs operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the Integrated Customs Management System (ICMS).
• Oversee bond management and warehousing procedures.
• Lodge customs entries and allocate/release them as required.
• Monitor the movement and release of new consignments.
• Prepare documentation for NTSA unit allocation.
• Maintain and update records, including R59 of MBSA 636.
• Handle licensing and compliance for BMSA 636.
• Coordinate truck loading while ensuring compliance with C40 regulations.
• Prepare and submit weekly reports to Customs and RECT departments.
• Keep detailed allocation records.
• Ensure compliance with both local and international logistics regulations.
• Proactively address and resolve logistics and supply chain challenges.

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Customs Management, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in logistics or supply chain management.
• In-depth knowledge of customs management processes.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
