Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled IT Service Support Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our internal and external clients, ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-level or second-level support to remote users or on-site users for hardware and software issues, including troubleshooting and resolving technical problems.
  • Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems, software, and networks.
  • Respond to user inquiries, diagnose issues, and offer solutions in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of all support requests, resolutions, and follow-up actions.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to implement and improve IT processes and solutions.
  • Ensure the security and integrity of the company's IT infrastructure and security policy.
  • Manage IT assets in areas.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on various software applications and systems.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to provide innovative support solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. - 1 year work or intern experience in related domain.
  • Proven experience as an IT Support Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of operating systems such as Windows 10/11, Windows Server, Active Directory, network configurations, Microsoft Office, M365, and hardware components.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient oral, written in both English & Mandarin is required.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to providing high-quality service.
  • Team spirit and user satisfaction driven

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with IT service management (ITSM) tools.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing technologies and platforms.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to move around work sites, which may include walking, standing, and climbing ladders or stairs.
  • Flexibility to bend, kneel, or crouch, particularly when inspecting installations or troubleshooting.
  • Capability to lift and carry moderate weights, typically up to 25-50 pounds.
  • Occasional lifting of heavier items may be required.
  • Ability to work in various environments, including offices, construction sites, and manufacturing facilities.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to various job sites, which may require driving or other forms of transportation.
