About the Role

We are seeking an AV Engineer to support day-to-day Audio-Visual (AV) and Video Conferencing (VC) operations across global locations. The role involves monitoring AV/VC endpoints, troubleshooting user issues, supporting meetings and events, and maintaining AV device inventory and compliance. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Cisco Webex and basic network troubleshooting.

Job Description

The AV Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and supporting AV/VC devices and endpoints, responding to support requests, and resolving issues remotely or through on-site assistance when required. The role also includes pre-testing rooms for high-profile meetings and providing AV support for auditoriums, town halls, and virtual events.

The position involves AV device installations and reinstallations, ticket handling, incident coordination, Webex profile administration, and follow-up with relevant stakeholders. The engineer will also maintain global AV asset inventories and ensure collaboration devices are appropriately recorded and compliant within the CMDB.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily checks of AV/VC endpoints and maintain operational checklists.
• Troubleshoot AV/VC issues remotely and provide on-site support when required.
• Pre-test conference rooms for high-profile meetings and planned activities.
• Install and reinstall display panels, AV devices, and Cisco IP phones.
• Provide AV support for auditoriums, town halls, events, and virtual events.
• Handle tickets, raise incidents, and coordinate follow-ups with relevant stakeholders.
• Create and delete Cisco Webex profiles as required.
• Maintain AV asset inventories and ensure global collaboration devices comply with CMDB requirements.
• Provide AV/VC support during planned weekend activities when required.
• Perform basic network troubleshooting for AV-related issues.
