JOB OVERVIEW:
Utilise technology to enhance HR operations by optimising the human resource information system (HRIS), ensuring seamless implementation and efficiency to support HR processes and drive organisational success.
DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and maintain the HRIS to ensure data accuracy, security, and reliability.
- Manage employee-related data, including records for leave, sick days, and other HR information within the system.
- Assess workflows and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency and user experience.
- Assist in HRIS projects such as system upgrades, implementations, integrations, and process improvements while ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Establish and manage project timelines, objectives, and deliverables.
- Maintain relationships with service providers and ensure project milestones are achieved.
- Test new system features, updates, and enhancements before deployment.
- Collaborate with the HR team and wider organisation to enhance decision-making through data-driven insights and system alignment with business goals.
- Develop, refine, and manage HR reporting, analytics, and dashboards to support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and organisational requirements for employee data management.
- Provide system training and lead change management efforts to drive successful adoption of HR technologies and processes.
- Create user guides and documentation for system-related functions.
- Adhere to customer-focused standards and expectations.
- Take responsibility for patients, stakeholders, and the entire team.
- Demonstrate respect and uphold ethical conduct.
- Follow Quality Management System guidelines and protocols.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Three-year Bachelor's Degree/tertiary qualification in Information Systems.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- At least 5-8 years of relevant experience as a systems specialist, including system development, implementation, analysis, support, and IT project management.
- Proficiency in database management, security, and executing SQL queries.
- Hands-on experience with SQL queries involving multiple tables, joins, subqueries, and aggregations.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including intermediate to advanced formulas, data analysis, PivotTables, and data insights extraction.
- Familiarity with PowerQuery/PowerPivot.
ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS:
- An understanding of HR processes is advantageous.
- Experience with web-based HRIS systems is a plus.
