JOB OVERVIEW:

An exciting opportunity exists for a Senior SAP Functional Consultant (PS/PPM) to join a dynamic team supporting our clients' SAP landscape. This role requires a highly skilled consultant with deep expertise in SAP Project Systems (PS) and Portfolio and Project Management (PPM) modules to deliver innovative solutions, drive business process improvements, and provide functional support across multiple business areas.

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:

The Senior SAP Functional Consultant (PS/PPM) will be responsible for analysing business requirements, designing, configuring, testing, and deploying SAP solutions in PS and PPM. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders to ensure system functionality aligns with business needs, providing ongoing support and training, and delivering enhancements to optimise processes within the SAP ecosystem. The successful candidate will also play a key role in SAP project implementations, upgrades, and integrations.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

• In-depth knowledge of SAP PS (Project Systems) and SAP PPM (Portfolio and Project Management) modules.
• Strong understanding of business processes related to project management, resource planning, and portfolio management.
• Experience in system configuration, customisation, and integration within SAP PS and PPM.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in preparing functional documentation and training materials.
• Familiarity with SAP Fiori applications and SAP S/4HANA environment.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
• SAP certification in PS and/or PPM is highly desirable.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Minimum of 6-8 years of experience as an SAP Functional Consultant with a focus on PS and PPM.
• Proven experience in multiple full-lifecycle SAP implementations and upgrades in PS/PPM.
• Hands-on experience in configuring and supporting SAP PS structures (WBS, networks, activities, milestones) and PPM functionalities.
• Experience with integration between SAP PS/PPM and other SAP modules (e.g. FI/CO, MM, HR, and SD).
• Demonstrated experience in working with business users to gather requirements and deliver solutions.

ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS:

• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA migrations and implementations.
• Experience with SAP Fiori and UI5 applications related to PS/PPM.
• Knowledge of ABAP debugging for functional purposes.
• Familiarity with Agile project delivery methodologies.
• Previous experience in large-scale enterprises or consulting environments.
