JOB OVERVIEW:

An exciting opportunity exists for a Senior SAP BTP Developer to join our client's dynamic team. This role focuses on designing, developing, and deploying innovative solutions using SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) to support digital transformation initiatives.

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:

The Senior SAP BTP Developer will be responsible for the end-to-end development of applications and integrations on the SAP Business Technology Platform. This includes analysing business requirements, designing technical solutions, developing applications using SAP BTP services, and ensuring seamless integration with on-premise and cloud systems. The role involves close collaboration with functional consultants, business stakeholders, and other technical teams to deliver scalable and efficient solutions.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

• Deep understanding of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) components, including SAP Cloud Foundry, SAP Integration Suite, SAP Extension Suite, and SAP Business Application Studio.
• Strong experience in developing applications using SAPUI5, Fiori, CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model), and Node.js.
• Proficiency in SAP BTP connectivity services for integration with SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, and third-party systems.
• Solid knowledge of API development, OData services, and RESTful APIs.
• Experience in working with SAP HANA Cloud, SAP Event Mesh, and SAP Workflow Management.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git-based development workflows, and DevOps principles.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities in multi-disciplinary environments.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• SAP certification in SAP BTP or related technologies is highly desirable.
  

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in SAP development, with at least 3 years focused on SAP BTP development.
• Proven experience in implementing SAP BTP-based solutions, including extensions and integrations.
• Hands-on experience in developing Fiori applications and using SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP).
• Strong understanding of cloud-native application design and deployment.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality solutions in complex enterprise environments.

ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS:

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA extensions and side-by-side development on BTP.
• Knowledge of SAP Graph, SAP AI Core, or SAP Data Intelligence.
• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
• Experience in multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) integrated with SAP BTP.
• Exposure to security best practices within SAP BTP and cloud applications.
