JOB OVERVIEW:
The Training Consultant will lead the training and change adoption workstream for a large-scale enterprise platform implementation currently in the strategy phase. This role requires a senior, experienced professional who can operate confidently at an enterprise level, manage complex stakeholder environments, and deliver end-to-end training solutions. The consultant will design, build and execute the training strategy while leading internal and external delivery teams to ensure business readiness and successful adoption.
DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:
The Training Consultant is responsible for owning and driving all training and change adoption activities across the programme lifecycle. This includes developing the overall training strategy, creating detailed plans and schedules, producing training and enablement materials, and coordinating delivery across multiple business units. The role requires strong governance, planning and reporting capability, as well as the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders. The consultant will lead a blended team of internal and external resources and ensure consistent, high-quality training delivery that supports enterprise-wide adoption of the new platform.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Strong understanding of enterprise training and change adoption methodologies.
- Ability to design and execute comprehensive training strategies and plans.
- Experience producing professional training and enablement materials.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Ability to operate at senior level within complex organisational environments.
- Strong governance, planning, reporting and delivery management skills.
- Proven leadership capability with experience managing blended delivery teams.
- Ability to drive business readiness and adoption across large programmes.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Training, Change Management, Business, Project Management or a related field.
- Formal training or change management certifications advantageous but not mandatory.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- 4–6 years experience in Training, Change Management and/or Project Delivery roles.
- Proven experience leading training and change initiatives at scale.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex enterprise environments and demanding stakeholders.
- Experience taking ownership of delivery from strategy through to execution.
- Exposure to major platform or systems implementations.
- Strong experience working with MS Dynamics projects (highly advantageous).
ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS:
- Experience leading training for large digital or ERP platform implementations.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and competing priorities.
- Experience working with cross-functional business units and external vendors.
- Strong facilitation and presentation skills.
- Experience supporting long-term adoption beyond go-live.
