We specialize in comprehensive performance restorations for CFM56 engines, including unique repairs, component and module refurbishments, engine swaps, and worldwide field service support. We operate as a high-efficiency FAA 145 / EASA Certified Repair Station and are registered with CASE.

Job Overview

The Inspector will conduct assessments following current technical guidelines provided by the manufacturer, such as instructions for continued airworthiness, service bulletins, and service letters. This role involves performing preliminary, hidden damage, in-process, and final inspections on civil aviation components, adhering to aviation airworthiness directives, government and industry standard practices, and other data approved by the FAA. Key responsibilities include:

  • Mastering inspection methods, techniques, tools, and equipment pertinent to their area.
  • Keeping skills sharp in using inspection tools and aids specific to their tasks.
  • Ensuring inspection equipment is functioning correctly and has accurate calibration data.
  • Understanding specifications related to inspection tolerances, limitations, and procedures as set by the manufacturer.
  • Ensuring all inspections are performed accurately, documented properly, and all records are completed before final approval for returning articles to service.
  • Replacing defective sub-assemblies, parts, or components to restore functionality.
  • Following scripted repair procedures to fix and test parts or products.
  • Assisting Repair Technicians, Engineers, and Technical Services as needed.
  • Adhering strictly to inventory control practices and procedures.
  • Interpreting OEM manuals and router instructions.

Qualifications

  • Experience with CFM56 engines.
  • Powerplant License required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Preferred knowledge of parts troubleshooting and repair concepts.
  • Proficiency with hand tools and pneumatic tools.
  • Basic understanding of troubleshooting concepts.
  • Ability to isolate failures and rework parts and assemblies.
  • Capability to meet company quality standards.
  • Competence in executing predefined testing and repair procedures.
  • Willingness to learn and perform basic repairs.
  • Ability to read and comprehend routers and OEM manuals.
  • Proficiency in English for business purposes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Quantum aviation software.
  • Proficiency in Spanish for business purposes.
