Position: Maintenance Manager
Location: Mt Airy, NC (Relocation Assistance for Qualified Candidate)
Salary: Up to $110k plus quarterly incentives and great benefits
Requirements:
- 4+ years hands on mid-heavy industrial maintenance management experience
- College or technical degree preferred
- Must be authorized to work in the US
As a Maintenance Manager, your primary responsibility will be to oversee and coordinate the maintenance team involved in the installation, repair, and upkeep of machinery and equipment. You will ensure that equipment operates efficiently to support overall plant operations. To excel in this role, you will:
Oversee the mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance and repair of production machinery and support equipment.
Assist the team in troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment malfunctions.
Leverage CMMS (Maximo) to identify high-wear parts and incorporate them into preventive maintenance (PM) schedules to minimize unplanned downtime.
Foster a positive working environment within the maintenance department and across other departments.
Collaborate with production supervisors to align maintenance activities with operational needs.
Lead the maintenance team in effectively utilizing Maximo.
Work with team members to identify skill gaps and develop tailored training plans to enhance individual performance.
Recommend improvements in production methods, equipment performance, and product quality.
Research and execute capital expenditure projects.
Qualifications and Education:
Technical degree in a relevant field preferred.
Strong experience in industrial electrical (3-phase) controls and devices, along with knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic systems, welding, and machining.
Prior experience as a Maintenance Manager is required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
