The North American Headquarters for Sofidel America is in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania with additional plants operating in six states (Florida, Wisconsin, Nevada, Oklahoma, Ohio, and Mississippi) as a tissue paper manufacturer for Consumer and Away-from-Home products.

We are currently looking for a Forklift Operator for our Haines City facility.

Loads unloads and moves materials within or near plant, yard, or work site by performing the following duties.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  1. Reads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials to be moved.
  1. Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves using a lift.
  1. Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated area.
  1. Stacks or assembles materials into bundles and bands bundles together.
  1. Scans labels on pallets, rolls, or other containers.
  1. Secures lifting attachments to materials and conveys load to destination.

Qualifications

Education:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience: at least 1 year with forklift experience

Required:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Pay Rate

$17.00/hour
