Our Client is a leading data-driven customer experience management company that specializes in the delivery of unique, personalized customer experiences across platforms and devices. The company works with 12,000+ employees worldwide and has offices in Switzerland, Germany and Austria as well as locations in the Czech Republic, Serbia and Portugal.

About this role

We're looking for a hands-on Cloud Solutions Architect to drive the day-to-day delivery of a large-scale cloud migration engagement. You'll work closely with the Senior Architect to translate architecture decisions into executable migration plans, ensuring continuity across environments and workstreams throughout the project lifecycle.

This role is central to our migration delivery — from discovery and dependency mapping through to hypercare and operational handover.

Responsibilities

- Perform discovery and dependency mapping across existing application environments

- Produce current-state assessments and gap analyses against the target platform's approved services and standards

- Design compliant target architectures using approved services, AMIs, and Terraform modules

- Define migration waves and classify components using rehost, re-platform, or refactor strategies

- Support environment readiness across Dev, QA, Pre-Prod, and Prod stages

- Define and coordinate test scenarios including performance testing, failover testing, and technical readiness checks

- Contribute to operational runbooks, monitoring/logging/alerting design, and hypercare/run enablement plans

- Collaborate with platform teams, existing service providers, and client stakeholders to ensure seamless handoffs

Requirements

- Strong AWS foundations — VPC/networking, IAM/security, compute, storage, managed databases, and migration patterns

- Application modernization — statelessness, autoscaling, container readiness, queues, DB pooling

- Landing zone / governed platform — guardrails, compliance controls, access patterns, working with platform teams

- Operational enablement — monitoring/logging/alerting, ITSM processes, vulnerability management, runbooks, hypercare

- Infrastructure as Code — Terraform, familiarity with standardised modules and templates Testing & go-live — SIT/UAT/performance/failover strategy, dry-run

- Good level of English (B2+)

Nice to Have


- Experience with enterprise-scale AWS migrations (CAF, 6-Rs methodology) 

- Familiarity with ITIL 4 processes for incident, problem, and change management 

- Background working within regulated or policy-governed cloud environments 

- Exposure to e-commerce, loyalty, or consumer-facing digital platforms
