Our client seeks a qualified business development manager and relationship builder in the freight forwarding industry to contribute to meeting company goals and initiatives for their FF Air and Warehouse services. They should be comfortable multitasking and able to budget their resources to meet the assigned quotas for their role.

Key Responsibilities
- Creating new business opportunities where none exist and maintaining assigned existing accounts
- Work strategically to achieve and exceed aggressive seasonal and annual sales targets
- Maximizing growth potential for sales of assigned accounts
- Seeking candidates who do not have an employment agreement and can bring business on within the first 90 days of hire.
- Experience organizing and attending trade shows
- Surpass quarterly sales team quotas and all revenue generation activities to ensure ongoing, aggressive growth nationwide.
- Implement strategic planning, forecasting, and ongoing development of the sales team.
- Attract, hire, and develop a Sales team to consistently execute National game plans and exceed business goals while holding them accountable.
- Identify improvement in all areas of productivity, process, and efficiency
- Develop and maintain executive-level relationships to help drive sales activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree desirable or equivalent work experience acceptable
- Minimum of 5 years sales experience in Freight Forwarding
- Proven sales experience developing new business
- Ability to work remotely and also come into offices when needed
Skills and Capabilities
- Proven ability to influence decision-makers
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions.
- Work closely with internal and external team members.
- Strong expertise in developing new businesses and providing client solutions to help grow existing business
- Technical savvy, understanding, and quickly identifying working in CRM and like programs (i.e., Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and databases
