We are looking for a professional based in Thessaloniki, that will be working on a shift of 10:30-19:00, on a non-fixed contract.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
Keep purchasing records up to date with new orders, ensuring that the team has clear and accurate information
Create purchase orders and enter shipment information into the company’s ERP system
Arrange and book shipments with shipping companies through their online platforms, ensuring all bookings are completed within the required deadlines
Check shipment booking confirmations and ensure that all information is correct. Request any necessary changes or corrections from the shipping company
Coordinate with suppliers and shipping companies to ensure that goods are delivered to the port on time and address any issues that could cause delays
Provide suppliers with all the documents and information required for each shipment, including purchase orders, regulatory documents and loading instructions
Clearly communicate important shipment requirements to suppliers, such as booking deadlines, container marking requirements and required loading photos
Monitor shipments on a daily basis and provide regular updates to the responsible manager, highlighting any important issues, delays or changes
Work closely with the teams responsible for shipment documentation and order completion to ensure that all required information and documents are complete and that shipments are processed on time
Qualifications & Competencies
Degree in Logistics or Business Administration, or any other related field
At least 2 years of experience in a similar position in shipping industry
Excellent knowledge of English, proficient level is necessary
Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office

Ability to perform under pressure and deadlines
