An established and well-respected reinforced concrete frame and civil engineering contractor is seeking an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team on a permanent basis.

The Role Project Quantity Surveyor
You will take full commercial responsibility for several live projects, working closely with senior management, clients, and project teams to ensure accurate cost control and successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage all commercial and contractual elements of multiple RC frame and civils projects

Prepare and manage CVRs, cashflow forecasts, and monthly valuations

Administer and assess subcontractor accounts, payments, and variations

Contribute to the preparation of tender submissions and cost estimates

Conduct site visits weekly (typically Leeds, Manchester, Sheffield, and Birmingham)

Collaborate with project teams to ensure accuracy in design changes, specifications, and cost reporting

Liaise directly with clients, PQS, and stakeholders to maintain strong commercial relationships

Ensure compliance with all company and contractual procedures
About You:
Proven experience as a Project Quantity Surveyor within RC frame, civil engineering, or structural concrete sectors
Commercially astute with strong analytical and negotiation skills
Capable of managing multiple live projects simultaneously
Excellent understanding of JCT or NEC contracts
Proficient in measurement, cost forecasting, and subcontractor management
Degree qualified (Quantity Surveying / Commercial Management) or equivalent experience
Willing to travel to regional sites weekly (vehicle or allowance provided)
