Job Summary:

Lead business development and revenue growth in Thailand's Utility-Scale and C&I Solar Market, driving sales of Hardware and Monitoring Solutions by building relationships with Solar Developers, IPPs, EPC Contractors, and C&I Asset Owners. Responsible for the full sales cycle, from prospecting and solution selling to negotiation and deal closure.

Responsibilities:

Business Development & Sales

  • Develop and execute the Thailand market growth strategy for solar monitoring and energy management solutions.
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities with solar developers, EPC companies, IPPs, and C&I asset owners.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation through contract negotiation and deal closure.
  • Build a strong sales pipeline and consistently achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • Develop strategic account plans for key customers and partners.

Relationship Management

  • Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers across the renewable energy ecosystem.
  • Engage with developers, EPCs, investors, asset managers, consultants, and energy stakeholders.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, networking events, and customer meetings.
  • Build long-term partnerships that support recurring SaaS and hardware revenue growth.

Technical Solution Selling

  • Understand customer operational and monitoring requirements and position appropriate Hardware and Monitoring solutions.
  • Present product demonstrations and technical value propositions to customers and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure customer requirements are addressed.
  • Support proposal preparation, solution design discussions, and commercial negotiations.

Market Intelligence & Strategy

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, industry regulations, and emerging opportunities within Thailand's renewable energy sector.
  • Provide feedback to product management regarding customer requirements and market needs.
  • Support regional growth initiatives and strategic partnerships across Southeast Asia as required.

Reporting & Forecasting

  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reporting, and CRM records.
  • Provide regular updates on sales activities, customer engagement, and market developments to senior management.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, technical sales, or commercial roles within the renewable energy or energy technology sector.
  • Experience in utility-scale solar projects, including development, EPC, operations, asset management, or monitoring solutions.
  • Existing network and relationships with Thai solar developers, EPC contractors, IPPs, and major C&I energy users.
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and closing B2B opportunities in Thailand.
  • Experience selling technical solutions, software platforms, hardware systems, or energy-related technologies.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage complex sales processes.
  • Fluent in Thai and English (written and spoken).
  • Willingness to travel throughout Thailand for customer meetings and site visits.
