Our client the specializes in designing and installing structures for the oil and gas industry, particularly for offshore drilling platforms.

Position: Subcontracts and Cost Control Engineer (Contract)

Employment Status: 1 Year Contract

Working Hour: Mon Fri 7.30 17.00 and Sat 7.30 12.00 hrs.

Office Location: Laemchabang Industrial Estate, Chonburi

Responsibilities

• To verify activities by ensuring all required supporting documentation and procedure are followed resulting in the recommendation of payment for work completed.
• Check and verify Monthly Progress Report including invoice.
• Change order process
• Ensure Subcontractor costs stay within the approved budget while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
• Oversee subcontract agreements to ensure contractors deliver as per scope, timeline, and cost requirements.
• To support other commercial activities under SCA responsibilities
• To arrange Commercial meeting with subcontractor if required
• Identify, monitor, and mitigate financial and contractual risks associated with subcontractors expenses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial Engineer, or related)
• At least 3 years experience in Subcontracting, Procurement and/or Project Engineer, preferable in EPC project
• Understanding the contractual requirements
• Commercial Analytical
• Attention to details
• Pro-activeness
• Well organized
• Negotiation skills are required to interact with subcontractors
• Excel & Application system e.g. Oracle, SAP, MRP
• English Proficiency
