Position: Sales Engineer Chemical/Wastewater Treatment

Type of Hiring: Permanent

Working: 5 Days/Week (Monday-Friday)

Location: Bangkok

Starting Date: ASAP

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven MWS Sales / Business Development Executive to join our team in Thailand. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, expanding our customer base, and enhancing client retention across key sectors, including Petrochemicals, Oil & Gas, Pharmaceuticals, Power, and Industrial markets.

Responsibilities:

Sales and Business Development:

  • Meet and exceed sales targets by growing the customer base and retention in the defined industries (Petrochem, Oil & Gas, Pharma, Power, Industrial) within Thailand.
  • Develop strategic business development plans for the territory and identify future potential markets for product/technology development opportunities.
  • Identify and qualify opportunities for cross-selling company products and services to generate additional business.

Account Management:

  • Identify, build, and maintain strong relationships with customers and prospects.
  • Ensure regular scheduled meetings with existing customers to review relationships and secure long-standing business.

Pre-qualification and Tendering:

  • Oversee, understand, and contribute to the pre-qualification and tendering processes.
  • Help in the smooth process management of designs from initial contact up until the full proposal submission.

Reporting and Strategy:

  • Report regularly to the MWS management team on progress against goals, market activity, competitive market environment, and strategies to achieve growth objectives.
  • Maintain good knowledge of competitor strategy and activity to identify new areas of business growth.

Representation and Coordination:

  • Attend and participate as a representative of the company at regional conferences and trade shows as appropriate.
  • Coordinate with operations, finance, and marketing teams as required.
  • Follow up on marketing campaigns and work with marketing to create materials to generate new prospect leads through various touchpoints, including traditional and digital vehicles.
  • Coordinate and implement MWS global strategy across Thailand.

Compliance and Safety:

  • Deliver results on time and strictly follow the Safety and Quality policies of the company.

Qualifications:

  • Bechelor/Master's in Engineering or a related field.
  • 3 years of experience in sales within the water treatment or chemical process industry.
  • Exposure to proposal preparation in a global environment and country/market-specific treatment industry.
  • Fluent in English (Speaking, Reading and Writing).
  • Strong communication skills to effectively communicate across cultures and different nationalities.
  • Ability to work well in a matrix and structured organization.
  • Proactive in developing strategic business development plans.
  • Have own car and driving license.
