PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- The Integrated Activity Planner plays a crucial role within the IAP organization, supporting the Head of Malaysia Sabah Asset and Functional Leads in prioritizing and coordinating activities for the short-term (1 year) and medium-term (5 years) to ensure optimal execution of the business plan.
- Develop and sustain the Integrated Asset Plan (IAP) for up to 5 years, aligning it with business objectives and operational needs, with a specific focus on FDP projects.
- Oversee and ensure the successful progression of development projects, meeting project objectives and adhering to all technical assurance processes and necessary FDP and project governance for internal and external stakeholders by closely collaborating with the FDP project team.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams (operations, maintenance, subsurface, drilling and completion, and project) to create integrated asset plans, taking into account factors such as maintenance schedules, production targets, project schedules, and resource limitations.
- Utilize advanced planning tools and software to model various scenarios and evaluate the impact of different strategies on asset performance and production targets.
- Implement interactive dashboards and reports using data visualization techniques for stakeholders, enhancing the accessibility and usability of IAP to support decision-making.
- Identify potential risks and formulate mitigation strategies to ensure continuous asset operations and minimize downtime.
- Participate in asset-related meetings, offering insights, recommendations, and updates on planning activities.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices and technological advancements to identify opportunities for process improvements and innovation within the asset planning function.
- Contribute Sabah Asset input to joint venture partners and engage with PETRONAS in various reviews, including TCM & OCM.
- Serve as the focal point for Sabah Asset Risk Management System, including monthly updates and reporting to the Risk Management system.
- Provide assistance to other members of the Sabah Asset Planning team, as required (e.g., leadership/senior management events, joint venture partners meetings, etc.).
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Possesses an honors degree from a university or its equivalent in Engineering, preferably in the engineering field.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant industry experience in the oil and gas sector, with a significant portion focused on asset integrated planning.
- Demonstrates proficiency in the use of planning software and tools; preference is given to those with prior experience in Primavera.
- Exhibits excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Fluent in English, both in spoken and written forms.
- Preferred background includes prior knowledge and experience in managing technical matters related to either operations or subsurface areas.
