Business Development Department Manager

 Job Description:

Job Summary:

  • Be Responsible for contact with new client, proposal preparation and coordinate with client.
  • To review of ITB/Inquiry document both commercial and technical requirement and convey that essential information to the team.
  • To manage proposal team/manpower after getting new Tender/Inquiry to submit the tender in time.
  • To review tender document before submission and ensure that the tender price will be competitive under correct scope of work & supply and all requirement of the ITB or Inquiry shall have been fulfilled.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with customer/client for collecting ITB or Inquiry document.
  • Review ITB or Inquiry document technically & commercially
  • Coordinate with customer/client for additional information required from customer/client and coordinate with related disciplines for any changes or additional information issued by customer/client.
  • Manage to ensure that all information from ITB or Inquiry are properly transferred to related disciplines.
  • Provide Bidding & Proposal, establish or manage to have Proposal Schedule to meet the time frame in ITB.
  • Manage and Review Tender document both technically & commercially prior to submission and ensure that the Tender will be delivered to customer on time.
  • Manage to have Tender Status updated and follow up result of tender with analytical result and issue for top management review.
  • Establish standard data and proposal format to use among tender team and ensure that standard data / photo bank for presentation and PQ reference on each category are established.
  • Make sure that each project started by proper information hand over in kick off meeting among BDD and related supporting department.
  • Consolidate annual appraisal and make assessment of his/her sub-ordinate.
  • Keep the relationship with the existing and potential client, meeting with the client, facilitate client and finance audits, and continuous improvement initiative.
  • Give proper instruction & clear assignment to subordinate and assign the suitable person to the task and monitor closely.
  • Establish, make known to all subordinates, keep KPI of Department, and appraisal the subordinate's performance.
  • Involve in the resources planning both company level and individual project level.
  • Recheck the document control system to ensure that it is complied with ISO 9001 and TIS/OHSAS 18001
  • Responsible and Act according to the requirements under TIS/OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001

Qualifications:

  • Male / Female age over 35 years old
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Management Field
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in Management
  • Good Communication skills in English
  • Good Management skills
  • Good in Coordinating, Decision Making, Problem Solving, Initiative, Self Confidence, and Self-Motivation
