Position: Technical Assistant Structural.

Salary: Negotiable (THB.)

Location: Leam Chabang, Chonburi.

Working: Mon Fri 07:30 17:00 and Sat 07:30 12:00 am.

Bus provided: Sukumvit main road from Chalermthai Chonburi and Banchang Rayong.

Job Summary:
The Technical Assistant Structural is responsible for providing technical support and assistance to the Structural Engineering team in the design, development, and analysis of onshore jacket structures. This role will involve working closely with engineers and other team members to ensure the structural integrity and compliance of the jacket structures with relevant codes and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of structural calculations and analyses, including load calculations, member sizing, and stability checks.
• Review and verify engineering drawings and specifications for accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, such as reports, memos, and presentations.
• Conduct research and gather technical data as needed.
• Support the engineering team in the development of design concepts and alternatives.
• Assist in the coordination of technical reviews and approvals with internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide technical support for the fabrication and construction of jacket structures.
• Stay updated on industry trends, codes, and standards related to structural engineering.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering, preferably in the offshore or onshore construction industry.
• Strong understanding of structural engineering principles and design methods.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, ABAQUS.
• Knowledge of relevant codes and standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
