Our Clent is a global packaging and logistics services provider. They are looking for a Sourcing Manager to join. 

Position: Sourcing Manager.

Type of hiring: Permanent

Location:  Chonburi

Job Responsibilities: 

• Lead sourcing efforts for both Direct and Indirect materials, focusing on cost reduction and identifying new suppliers.
  
• Manage the entire procurement process, from sourcing to vendor selection and contract negotiation.
• Ensure the timely availability of critical materials to prevent shortages.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and conducting regular evaluations.
• Monitor market trends to identify new opportunities and mitigate risks.
• Contribute to the development of procurement strategies that support company profitability and efficiency.

Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  
• Over 8 years in sourcing/procurement, 3-5 years in management, preferably in manufacturing or industrial packaging.
• Experience with plastic, corrugated, wood, and metal components. Proven skills in supplier evaluation, negotiation, and management.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes, including sourcing, cost management, and supplier relationships.
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English. Chinese language skills are a valuable asset.
• Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Office and procurement software.
• Proven ability to lead and develop teams, fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and strategic thinking skills.
