Responsibilities:
Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
Support:
- Conducting category analysis through supply market analysis activities.
- Utilizing strategic sourcing processes for sourcing and negotiation, ensuring competitive advantage.
- Leading or assisting in negotiations, employing appropriate strategies and tactics.
- Initiating and overseeing cost-saving initiatives.
- Developing transition plans and overseeing the implementation of new supply arrangements.
- Monitoring supplier performance and managing ongoing supplier relationships and contracts.
- Developing the Annual Contracting Plan to align with the company's enterprise plan.
Functional Guidance and Compliance:
- Serving as a key Procurement focal point.
- Ensuring adherence to procurement principles, strategies, processes, and standards.
- Providing P2P training as required and enhancing P2P fluency among stakeholders.
- Monitoring and ensuring P2P compliance for managed contracts.
Leveraging Opportunities:
- Collaborating with stakeholders to prioritize, evaluate, and execute leveraging opportunities.
- Assessing opportunities and managing supplier relationships as a business partner.
- Aligning procurement strategy with Business Plan objectives and communicating plans and progress regularly.
Quality Service Delivery:
- Monitoring contract compliance and supporting enterprise sourcing.
- Tracking and reporting savings results and supplier performance periodically.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, Law, or related fields.
- A minimum of 5 years of direct procurement experience with strong sourcing, negotiation, and contracting competencies.
- Preferably background in the energy/oil and gas sector, including terminals environment.
- Proven track record of managing multiple initiatives successfully.
- Experience in applying category management techniques in strategic sourcing, such as TCO and should-cost modeling.
- Proficiency in commercial and financial analysis associated with procurement activities.
- Excellent analytical and project management skills.
- Strong team player with a commitment to performance and results.
- Effective communication and presentation skills in both Thai and English.
- Influencing skills with internal stakeholders and suppliers at all levels.
- Knowledge of E-Procurement with GEP/SAP capability is considered advantageous.
- Strategic thinking ability with a focus on collaboration, customer orientation, and business judgment.
- Willingness to travel occasionally and work from Rayong office as needed.
