Senior Manager, Finance and Accounting

 Job Description:

Client: Our client is Thai joint venture company involved in both generating and supplying electricity.

Location: Map Ta Phut, Rayong

Type of Hiring: Permanent

Key Accountability:

Providing finance and accounting support services for the project and managing team to handling vital roles in corporate finance and accounting management and analysis provide financial planning and accounting management reports for management decision making.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all finance and accounting activities, with a focus on financial management to support the company's business.
  • Ensure the timely preparation of financial statements, including budgetary reports, following the established company policies and in accordance with Thai GAAP, relevant regulations, and tax laws for both internal and external reporting purposes.
  • Conduct budgeting and forecasting activities, delivering accurate budget information and forecasts, complete with variance analysis against actual results.
  • Supervise budget control systems and analyze variance and performance reports, while also providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Analyze data, information, and financial models to accurately represent the effects of proposed business scenarios and financial conditions and provide results and strategies for management decisions.
  • Review financial risks, assess their impacts, and suggest ways to mitigate these risks with recommendations for the management.
  • Ensure compliance is consistently and accurately maintained, and that all administrative processes required under project finance documents and lender's requirements align with the business objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, or related fields
  • A minimum of 10 years in a managerial role within corporate finance and accounting management, with a preference for experience in the power plant or heavy industry sector.
  • Proven ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively with staff at all levels within the company, as well as external entities (mainly banks and financial institutions)
  • Proficient in managing relationships and influencing individuals.
  • Effectively in project/task management to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Demonstrates strong decision-making and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Exhibits adeptness in human relations, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Positive learning and innovative thinking
  • English proficiency. (either equivalent to or exceeding a TOEIC 700).
