Key Objectives

To oversee and execute all contract and procurement activities to ensure smooth and uninterrupted operations, adhering to COMPANY regulations, SSHE guidelines, and PETRONAS Procurement Standards.

Accountabilities

• Fulfil end-user requirements in the most efficient manner.
• Ensure all activities align with COMPANY regulations and PETRONAS Procurement Standards.
• Continuously enhance internal procurement processes, identifying and addressing potential risks and exposures to the COMPANY.
• Educate other departments on best practices and achieving full cost recovery.
• Engage in procurement-related initiatives by PETRONAS and submit necessary reports to Group Procurement.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree required; professional certification from accredited bodies is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in the Oil & Gas industry, including at least 3 years with an E&P operator or contractor in Malaysia.
• Familiarity with the latest PETRONAS Procurement Standard revisions and practical experience with various procurement processes over the last 3 years, with direct involvement in Group Procurement PETRONAS being desirable.
• Proficiency in SAP is advantageous but not essential.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with a high level of integrity.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
