Position: Position Senior Pipeline Engineer and designer

Salary: 90,000 130,000 THB.

Employment Status: Permanent

Working Hour: Mon Fri 8.00 18.00, Hybrid working

Office Location: SCB Park Plaza, Near BTS Ratchayothin, BKK.

Key Responsibilities:

Detailed Engineering and Design

• Perform, oversee and manage detailed drawings and design
• Perform /Check Engineering Calculation, Engineering Drawings, MTO, Weight Control report, Specification, Basis of Design Report, etc.
• Raise technical queries and deviation to specifications
• Vendor Data Review and Summary of Bids Approval.
• Provide CTRs (Cost, Time and Resources)
• Manpower planning and managing

Project Management

• Accountable for all related design and engineering activities of assigned project
• Lead implementation of project engineering as per execution plan
• Ensure timely delivery within budget
• Identify and control project risks & opportunities
• Management of engineering changes
• Ensure smooth teamwork and client satisfaction
• Client interfaces e.g. day-to-day activities, weekly/monthly meetings
• Reporting e.g. weekly/monthly progress

Project Procurement

• Issuance of specifications and material take-offs for project structural materials
• Follow-up with vendors and suppliers as required to ensure technical compliance with required standards
• Ensure appropriate QC and QA is applied to procured materials to verify compliance with client requirements and design intents

Construction /Offshore Services

• Provide technical assistance as and when required
• Resolve technical queries

Other Functions - Quality Assurance /Quality Control

• Ensure internal QA/QC procedures are adhered to during the performance of design and procurement tasks
• Review structural engineering, fabrication and installation related PRNCAs and ensure resolution.

Qualification:

• Bachelor Degree or higher in Engineering
• At least 15 years' experience on the similar works relevant to oil and gas industry or equivalent
• Minimum 10 years of direct experience for offshore pipeline design & analysis, material inspection/testing, preservation, pipeline integrity check, including offshore installation experience.
• Knowledge of design, fabrication and installation of subsea pipeline and structures.
• Knowledge of current design codes, recommended practices such as API, AISC, DNV, ABS, ANSI/ASME, ISO, EN codes.
• Experience in design of subsea pipeline and structures is a must, i.e. route analysis, on-bottom stability, pipeline end expansion, on-bottom roughness, free span analysis, cathodic protection design, riser design, VIV, pipelay analysis, design of PLEM & PLET and etc. Well-versed on analysis program, i.e. SAGE Profile 3D, AutoPIPE, ANSYS, SACS , Mathcad and etc.
