Our client the specializes in designing and installing structures for the oil and gas industry, particularly for offshore drilling platforms.

Position: Welding QC Inspector

Employment Status: 1 year contract

Working location: Laemchabang Industrial Estate.

Working Hour: Mon Fri 7.30 17.00 and Sat 7.30 12.00 Hrs.

Bus provided: On Sukhumvit main road from Chalermchai Chonburi and Banchang Rayong.

Responsibility

• Area of responsibility is Piping /Structural / Mechanical.
• Carry out inspection activities, monitor production/contractors' workmanship quality in accordance with relevant construction drawings, applicable specifications, codes and standard.
• Ensure that welders/welding operator, consumables, WPS and material identification are traceable and verified on site.
• Provide inspection report and status for QC Document/Data entry/MDR team to key in company's system
• Establish QC documentation daily submit for client review and handover progressively to MRB/MDR team for final compilation.
• Conduct and record welding parameters during test welding procedural qualification, witness laboratory test, conduct WQT, compile test reports, check correctness of updated WPS/PQR/WQTR Register.
• Ensure all welding/inspection equipment is within calibration requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum vocational certificate in a recognized discipline.
• Holding any Welding Inspector Certificate (e.g. CSWIP 3.0/3.1 or AWS CAWI/CWI, etc.) certifications or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years QC Quality Controls experience in Oil& Gas platform fabrication.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, work codes etc.
• Capable of written and verbal communication effectively in English Language with all levels.
• knowledge of specifications.
• Able to work under conditions.
