Procurement Analyst

 Job Description:

Location: Bangkok

Contract Term: Permanent

Working Hour: Mon Fri


Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and manage all requests for quotations, purchase orders, and related activities to support administrative, exploration, well operations, projects, and production.
  • Manage new vendor registrations and updates to vendor information, including name and address changes.
  • Register new vendors and update existing vendor information in the BPM system, including name and address changes.
  • Conduct Work Check and Ethical Compliance Due Diligence monitoring for new and existing vendors.
  • Assist the Finance team to ensure accurate and timely processing of procurement-related transactions within the system.
  • Handle procurement processes for other departments such as Subsurface, Corporate Affairs, Safety, HR, Admin, HSE, and IT departments, including clarifying requirements, communicating with local and global vendors for quotations and proposals.
  • Assist the Procurement team and users in preparing contracts, CSR, CAR, PO, SO, and other procurement-related documents.
  • Coordinate with logistic service providers to prepare Import Duty and VAT exemption letters for the Department of Mineral Fuels, as well as absolute customs clearance letters for the Customs Department.
  • Conduct stock checks at the branch/field twice a year.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field with minimum two (2) years in Procurement working experience.
  • Good communication skills in English (writing and speaking).
  • Has a basic of technical knowledge of equipment and services is required to prepare requests for quotations, conduct bid analyses, and familiarity with general procurement principles and procedures interfaced to specific corporate procedures.
  • Must be diligent and hardworking, able to work under pressure to meet deadlines, and possess high ethical standards, integrity, and honesty.
  • Has strong interpersonal skills and communication skills to communicate effectively with supervisors and peers.
  • Must be willing to work as part of a team, and demonstrate patience, sympathy, and tolerance toward personnel with cultural differences.
  • Professionalism in dealing with others, especially external parties, is crucial to projecting a positive image on behalf of the company.
  • Should be capable of interpreting the needs of departmental staff in order to fully utilize their expertise.
