Position: Assistant Safety Project Manager
Company: Construction company, offshore oil and gas.
Type of Hiring: Contract 2 years
Working hours: Mon Fri 7.30 - 17.00 and Sat 7.30 - 12.00
Location: Chonburi, Thailand

Responsibilities:

Leadership and Culture:

• Champion a strong HES (Health, Environment, and Safety) culture within CUEL Limited, promoting safe work practices and procedures at all levels.
• Conduct regular walkdowns and talks with company management, clients, government authorities, and shop floor workers to identify and address potential safety hazards.
• Facilitate regular HES & Projects meetings to discuss safety performance, address concerns, and ensure collaboration with all stakeholders.
• Serve as an advisor to Operations for risk assessments of new tools, procedures, and projects.

Compliance and Management:

• Develop, implement, and enforce effective HES policies, procedures, and safe work practices to ensure a safe working environment for all employees and stakeholders.
• Conduct regular HES inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with all Thai HES regulations, laws, and project requirements.
• Assist supervisors in developing specific procedures and detailed instructions that align with the company's total management system.
• Review and update HES documentation as needed to maintain compliance.

Incident Management and Training:

• Provide expert advice and consultation on all HES related issues to all departments.
• Lead or participate in incident investigations, ensuring a thorough process and timely implementation of corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver effective HES training programs for employees at all levels.
• Ensure regular HES inspections are actively conducted for all projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Occupational Health and Safety or have a safety certification Professional Level as per Thai labor law.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Construction or Oil & Gas business and 5 years in lead capacity
• Certified professional or international HES standard
• Interpersonal Skill and Problem Solving Skill
• Able to work under pressure
• Good command of Thai and English
