Specialist, New Business Acquisition

 Job Description:

Location: Chatuchak, Bangkok

Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Expand the retail network through the acquisition of new sites, supporting the growth of the fuel retail brand.
  • Conduct assessments of sites and land in upcountry areas, with the ability to estimate potential sales volumes.
  • Visit prospective customers in upcountry areas to assess their needs and present tailored packages.
  • Lead negotiations, present offers, finalise agreements, and prepare proposals and analytical reports.
  • Independently develop negotiation strategies, deal parameters, and economic models.
  • Fluently articulate the total solution package, translating internal strengths and competitive advantages into customer value.
  • Manage complex negotiations, often requiring alternative approaches to secure bids.
  • Engage with multiple high-level contacts, including senior industry figures.
  • Build and maintain strong industry connections and a well-developed network of information sources.
  • Oversee all stages of the sales process, from lead generation to managing the sales pipeline and customer database using relevant systems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in any related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in sales and marketing, particularly in new business development and sales. Experience within the retail sector is preferred.
  • Strong negotiation and commercial skills, with expertise in retail sales.
  • Excellent customer relationship management abilities.
  • Skilled in collaboration, teamwork, negotiation, analytical thinking, and problem-solving.
  • Committed to delivering high-quality results and driving superior outcomes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Good command of English both written and spoken.
  • Willingness to travel upcountry and possess a valid drivers license.
