Position: Customs Specialist (Road Logistics)
Contract Term: 1 Year Contract (Renewable) ** Under Vinarco

Working: 5 Days/Week (Monday - Friday), 08.30 17.30
Location: Phetchaburi Road, Bangkok

Responsibilities:
A Customs Specialist (Road Logistics) plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth and compliant movement of goods across borders via road transport.
- Prepare and submit accurate and complete customs declarations for import and export shipments.
- Classify goods according to the appropriate customs tariff codes.
- Calculate duties, taxes, and other fees associated with international trade.
- Liaise with customs authorities to ensure compliance with regulations and expedite clearance processes.
- Manage and resolve customs audits and inquiries.
- Maintain comprehensive records of all customs documentation for each shipment.
- Ensure all necessary permits, licenses, and certificates are obtained for specific goods.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams (sales, operations) and external stakeholders (carriers, customs brokers, clients) regarding shipment status and customs requirements.
- Provide guidance and support on customs regulations and procedures.
- Understand the specific requirements and complexities of road freight movement, including border crossings and transit procedures.
- Stay informed about updates to customs regulations and trade agreements impacting road logistics.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Customs Clearance, specifically in Road Logistics.
- Proven ability to classify goods accurately according to customs tariff codes.
- Strong understanding of import and export regulations and procedures.
- Experience in preparing and submitting customs declarations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with various stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and customs clearance software (a plus).
- A valid driver's license may be required (depending on company policy).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures and regulations.
