Position: Mechanical Inspector (Contract)

Employment Status: 10 Months contract

Working location: Laemchabang Industrial Estate.

Working Hour: Mon Fri 7.30 17.00 and Sat 7.30 12.00

Job Summary

To perform inspection activities and sign off inspection records according to company approved procedures and project requirements for QC data entry operator key in FABDB system, to liaise with production team, production engineer, NDT technical, welding engineer, subcontractor, warehouse, client and third party inspection personnel for inspection related matters.

Responsibility

• Carry out inspection activities, monitor procedure/ contractor's workmanship quality in accordance with relevant construction drawings, applicable specifications, codes and standard.
• Ensure that welder/welding operator, consumables are traceable and verified on site
• Provide inspection report and status for QC document/data entry/MDR team to key in FABDB system and establish QC documentation daily submit for client review and handover progressively to
• Conduct and record welding parameters during test welding procedural qualification, witness laboratory test, conduct WQT, compile test reports, check correctness of updated WPS/PQR/WQTR register.
• Ensure all welding/ inspection equipment is within calibration requirements.

Qualifications

• Diploma or vocational certificate in recognized discipline
• Welding Inspector CSWIP/ WS/ PCN certification or equivalent. (**The combination of National (Local) Training Certificate supported by relevant work experience could be accepted as proven of competency through interview.)
• Minimum of 3 years QC Quality Controls experience in Oil& Gas platform fabrication.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications. work codes, etc.
• Capable of written and verbal communication effectively in English language with all levels.
• Sound knowledge of specifications.
