Our client the develop and test products internally and manufacture automotive technology.

Position: Senior CAD Engineer.

Employment Status: Permanent.

Location: Pluak Daeng, Rayong.

Responsibility

The position will work closely with engineering product engineers and engineering manager to define and implement CAD designs from conceptual design to detailed part design for Air Conditioner and power train cooling system.

CATIA V5 3D Modeling technology and 2D drawing development capability is a minimum requirement and a good understanding of G, D & T is desired.

The designer should have a good understand of

• Metal component design (Aluminum)
• Plastic part development.
• Mechanisms
• Designing assemblies comprising of multiple part interfaces.
• Basic check jigs, fixtures and metal press tooling design.

Main Function

• Conceptual development and layout design.
• Detail part design including 3D design, 2D design and GD&T.
• Support with CAD tasks as required.
• Support CAD data security, integrity and back-up.
• Design responsibility for the integrity of all math data transferred from AITS sits to customers and supplier.
• Communicate with suppliers and onsite support at customer from time to time.
• Support the development and implementation of EMS ISO 14001 and IATF 16949 system.

Qualification

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical, Engineer or related field.
• Refrigeration and air conditioning engineering experience.
• Project system administration experience.
• Understanding of OEMs system and standards.
• Plastic injection module and metal press tooling design experience.
• Checking fixture design experience.
• Oversea experience.
• IT System architecture experience.
• Strong knowledge in ISO 9001 / IATF16949 / ISO 1400 1b
• Excellent in writing reading and spoken English.
• Able to operate computer: Microsoft office.
• Ability to read technical drawing and ability to use Solid Works or other CAD package is an advantage especially with experience of 3D model manipulation which is used in AI for brazing fixture design.
