Our client is a leading Electrical Products and Solutions Provider in Thailand.
Position: Sales Manager (HV Electrical Products)
Type of Hiring: Permanent
Working: 5 Days/Week (Monday Friday)
Location: Bangkok
Start Date: ASAP
Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to drive growth for HV products in Thailand.
- Align local sales strategies with global and regional business objectives.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target sectors, including electrical utilities (EGAT, PEA, MEA), EPCs, and industrial customers.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the sales team to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
- Optimize sales resources to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Foster a high-performance sales culture with a focus on customer-centric solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
- Act as the primary point of contact for major clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Negotiate and close high-value contracts with key clients.
- Manage profit and loss (P&L) for the HV sales unit, ensuring both qualitative and quantitative targets are met.
- Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to optimize pricing and sales strategies.
- Monitor sales performance and report key metrics to senior management.
- Collaboration & Cross-functional Engagement
- Work closely with internal teams, including engineering, marketing, and product management, to align sales efforts.
- Collaborate with regional and global teams to leverage best practices and resources.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (Masters degree is a plus).
- 5+ years of experience in sales management, preferably in high-voltage (HV) products or power transmission & distribution.
- Proven track record of sales leadership, team management, and achieving revenue targets.
- Strong understanding of HV products, power transmission, and distribution market.
- Experience working with utilities, EPCs, and industrial clients.
- Familiarity with HV products such as circuit breakers, transformers, switchgear, and other electrical equipment.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Analytical mindset with experience in P&L management.
- Ability to develop and execute sales strategies in a competitive market.
- Fluent in English and Thai (both written and spoken).
- Willingness to travel within Thailand and occasionally overseas.
