Opportunity: Senior Advisor Commercial (Upstream Oil & Gas)

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Contract Type: 1-2 Years (Renewable)

A leading energy organization is seeking a highly experienced Senior Advisor Commercial to join its dynamic team in Kuala Lumpur. This role is ideal for professionals with deep expertise in upstream oil & gas commercial strategy, contract negotiation, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support the negotiation and drafting of upstream commercial contracts.
• Collaborate across internal departments to drive alignment on commercial initiatives.
• Strengthen relationships with national oil companies and joint venture partners.
• Provide strategic advice on PSCs, JOAs, and other key commercial agreements.
• Evaluate the economic impact of business decisions and support long-term planning.

Mandatory Qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years experience in the upstream oil & gas industry.
• Strong knowledge of Production Sharing Contracts, Joint Operating Agreements, and Sales Agreements.
• Proven track record in commercial negotiations and economics.
• Experience with major oil & gas projects.
• Degree in Engineering, Finance, or Law.
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and leadership skills.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
