Position: Customs Care Specialist

Contract Term: Contract (Renewable) ** Under Vinarco

Working: 5 Days/Week (Monday - Friday)

Location: Bangkok - Near MRT

Job Summary:
A Customs Care Specialist to manage customs clearance activities and ensure compliance with import/export regulations. The role involves preparing customs declarations, coordinating with customs authorities and stakeholders, supporting customs-related projects, and ensuring the smooth and timely clearance of shipments across logistics operations.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead and support the implementation of customs-related projects, ensuring smooth onboarding and operational readiness.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customs brokers, government authorities, customers, and other key stakeholders.
  • Prepare, review, and submit customs declarations accurately and in compliance with regulatory requirements to ensure timely shipment clearance.
  • Monitor end-to-end customs clearance activities, including document verification, data entry, customs inspections, and third-party documentation.
  • Coordinate with customs authorities on product classification and re-classification matters when required.
  • Supervise loading and unloading operations, investigate discrepancies, and coordinate follow-up actions with relevant parties.
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), identify operational risks, and provide training to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Attend customs examinations and ensure all required permits, licenses, and certifications remain valid and compliant.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Customs Clearance Officer, Customs Specialist, or in a related customs operations role.
  • Solid understanding of customs clearance procedures, import/export regulations, and shipment documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good written English communication skills, particularly for professional email correspondence.
  • Open-minded, adaptable, and willing to learn and expand knowledge in road logistics operations.
  • Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in Air Freight, Ocean Freight, or Road Freight customs operations; candidates from any transportation mode are welcome to apply.
