Position: Operational Care Specialist (Air)

Contract Term: Contract (Renewable) **Under Vinarco

Working: 5 Days/Week

Location: Suvarnabhumi Airport, Bangkok

Start Date: ASAP

Job Summary:

Coordinates air shipment operations to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant delivery, while managing bookings, monitoring shipments, preparing documentation, and supporting service quality and process improvement.

Job Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute daily shipment operations to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with customer requirements
• Monitor shipment progress, proactively manage deviations, and provide timely updates in operational systems
• Prepare and verify documentation in accordance with regulatory and company standards
• Review and clarify shipping instructions, addressing discrepancies related to routing, transit time, or rates
• Communicate effectively with internal teams, customers, and external partners to ensure smooth operations
• Collaborate with carriers, gateways, warehouses, and customs teams to resolve issues and ensure service delivery
• Track and evaluate carrier and partner performance; escalate issues when service commitments are not met
• Maintain accurate data in systems, including operational and financial information (e.g., costs)
• Support process improvements, automation initiatives, and system optimization to enhance efficiency
• Contribute to cost optimization and profitability initiatives
• Assist in onboarding new customers and ensure smooth transition from Sales to Operations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
• 2 - 3 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain operations (air freight experience is preferred)
• Strong understanding of shipment coordination, documentation, and transport processes
• Good knowledge of air freight regulations and industry standards is an advantage
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail
• Strong communication and coordination skills with both internal and external stakeholders
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics/transport management systems
• Good command of English (both written and spoken)
