Position: Purchasing Officer (Real Estate / Property Development)
Type of Hiring: Permanent
Working: 5 Days/Week l Monday - Friday
Location: Pattaya, Chonburi

Our client, a real estate and property development company is seeking an experienced Purchasing Officer with a strong background in Real Estate / Property Development to manage the procurement of construction materials, equipment, and services for projects in Pattaya. The role involves supplier sourcing, negotiation, purchase order management, and coordination with site and project teams to ensure timely and cost‑effective purchasing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle the full purchasing process for construction materials, equipment, and services according to project requirements.
- Source, evaluate, and select suppliers to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with vendors to achieve the best commercial value.
- Coordinate closely with Project, Engineering, QS, and Site Teams to understand material needs and timelines.
- Create and issue Purchase Orders (PO), PR processing, and related documents accurately and on schedule.
- Maintain and update vendor databases, price lists, and procurement records.
- Monitor inventory levels for key materials and coordinate with warehouse teams.
- Track and follow up on deliveries to ensure materials arrive according to project timelines.
- Resolve supplier issues regarding quality, quantity, or delivery delays.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and internal audit requirements.
- Prepare regular purchasing reports for management review.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related fields.
- Minimum 3 years experience in Purchasing within the Real Estate / Property Development industry (required).
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, suppliers, and procurement processes.
- Ability to negotiate effectively and build long-term vendor relationships.
- Good understanding of contracts, pricing structures, and cost analysis.
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple procurement tasks simultaneously.
