Medical Transcriptionist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Medical Transcriptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for listening to recorded dictations from healthcare professionals and accurately transcribing them into written reports. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, excellent typing skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transcribe audio recordings from physicians and other healthcare providers into clear, concise, and accurate written documents.
• Ensure all transcriptions are completed in a timely manner while adhering to quality standards.
• Review and edit transcriptions for accuracy, grammar, and punctuation.
• Familiarize yourself with various medical specialties and terminology to enhance transcription quality.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to clarify any unclear dictations or terminology.
• Stay updated on advancements in medical transcription technology and practices.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a medical transcriptionist or in a related field.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and pharmacology.
• Excellent typing speed and accuracy.
• Proficient in using transcription software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
