Design Consultant

As a Design Consultant, you will be responsible for providing design expertise and solutions for our pediatric healthcare facilities. You will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to create functional and aesthetically pleasing environments that meet the unique needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with our team of healthcare professionals to understand the functional and design requirements for our pediatric healthcare facilities

- Develop and present design concepts and solutions that align with our company's mission and values

- Create detailed design plans, including space planning, material selection, and color schemes

- Source and select furniture, fixtures, and equipment that meet the specific needs of our patients and their families

- Manage design projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery

- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in pediatric healthcare design, and incorporate them into our facilities

- Conduct site visits and collaborate with contractors and vendors to ensure design plans are executed accurately and efficiently

- Maintain accurate records and documentation of design projects

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field

- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite

- Strong understanding of design principles, space planning, and material selection

- Knowledge of ADA and building codes related to healthcare facilities

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

- Passion for creating functional and inspiring spaces for children and adolescents with special healthcare needs
