The role
As Bartender you'll be working with an amazing team everyday. It's really important to be friendly, attentive and timely to create an exceptional experience for all our customers. Each bartender's main goal is to show our customers the memorable experience they can have here every time they visit.
You have to be aware of health and safety regulations and have an eye to make gorgeous cocktails. Check the general condition of the bar, cleanliness, and good maintenance of the furniture its also something important.
You have what it takes
Experience in working at bars/restaurants;
Good english and Portuguese communication skills;
You are resourceful, adaptable, creative, and results-oriented with high energy, a positive attitude, and the ability to contribute in a team environment;
Ability to think creatively and innovatively - always aligned with the company's values;
Ability to multitask;
Ability to work in a very busy environment;
What you will spend most of your time doing:
Drink Preparation: Prepare both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, with skill.
Customer Interaction: Engage with customers, taking orders and serving snacks and drinks.
Needs Assessment: Assess customer preferences and make recommendations.
Menu Planning: Plan and present the bar menu, demonstrating knowledge of stock and beverage mechanics.
Organization: Maintain an organized, stocked, and clean bar area.
Compliance: Follow all food and beverage regulations and health and safety procedures (HACCP).
Stock Management: Efficiently manage stock, restocking bar supplies as needed.
Guest Experience Focus: Stay attentive to guests to ensure an excellent experience.
Operational Efficiency: Handle order receipt and delivery promptly, keeping the bar and equipment clean.
Legal Adherence: Verify customer age as per legal drinking requirements.
Shift Management: Take responsibility for bar shifts, ensuring excellent mise en place and service supervision.
Communication: Explain menu items to customers clearly, with effective communicative skills.
Problem Solving and Organization: Utilize strong problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills.
Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in line with HACCP standards.
