About Us

BNTO is an AI-powered “omni-consumption” subscription platform that personalizes your fashion experience with an innovative approach to new purchases, rentals, and resales.

Powered by ALMA.AI, our proprietary full-stack vertical AI solution, BNTO rethinks fashion’s supply and demand by leveraging real-time inventory data and user behavior to drive smarter decisions—not just around what to offer, but how people can access it and at what price point. By connecting rental, resale, and new purchase options through a unified inventory pool, we dynamically match products with demand in the most efficient and personalized way. This approach allows us to flex inventory across consumption modes, unlock higher profitability, and give consumers ultimate flexibility—all while reducing waste and overproduction.

BNTO is part of ViaVia Corporation, and we are a Series B company in the fashion tech space, backed by industry-leading investors including Headline, Notable Capital, Basis Set Ventures, NEA, the AI Fund, and Exor.

About the Role

BNTO is looking for an experienced NYC-based freelance Events, Activations & Partnerships lead to concept and execute highly produced, culturally relevant brand moments, collaborations, and experiences.

This is a senior, hands-on role for someone who loves both the creative thinking and the making. You’ll have meaningful ownership from concept through execution—shaping the idea, bringing together the right partners and collaborators, and overseeing every detail that brings the experience to life.

We’re looking for someone with exceptional taste, strong relationships, and the resourcefulness to make ambitious ideas happen. The best fit is someone who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment: equally energized by developing the concept, finding an unexpected partner or venue, and being on the ground making sure the final experience is executed beautifully.

The goal is simple: create experiences that feel highly considered, culturally relevant, and unmistakably BNTO.

This is an independent contractor role, approximately 20 to 25 hours for most weeks. For the right candidate, this position could later blossom into a full-time position.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop concepts for brand activations, events, collaborations, and partnerships that build awareness and cultural relevance for BNTO
  • Proactively identify and bring forward the right brands, talent, venues, creatives, and partnership opportunities
  • Own events and activations end-to-end, from initial concept and budget through production and on-site execution
  • Personally source and manage venues, vendors, production partners, talent, gifting, catering, rentals, staffing, and other event needs
  • Own budgets, timelines, production schedules, run of show, setup, breakdown, and all the details in between
  • Lead outreach, negotiation, coordination, and execution for brand collaborations and partnerships
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for external partners and vendors
  • Partner closely with BNTO’s brand, creative, and social teams to ensure every touchpoint feels highly considered, visually strong, and on-brand
  • Think beyond the event itself to create moments that generate compelling content, community engagement, partnerships, and earned awareness
  • Be on-site for NYC activations, leading execution and troubleshooting in real time
  • Manage post-event follow-up and identify learnings and opportunities to make the next activation even stronger

Experience & Skills

  • 7+ years of experience across experiential marketing, events, brand partnerships, PR, production, or adjacent disciplines
  • Experience producing elevated events and activations within fashion, beauty, lifestyle, hospitality, or culturally relevant consumer brands
  • Strong creative instincts and an exceptional eye for the details that make an experience feel premium, current, and considered
  • An established NYC network across venues, vendors, creatives, brands, talent, and production partners
  • A track record of taking projects from a blank page through successful execution
  • Someone who is as comfortable developing the concept and pitching a partner as they are managing a vendor spreadsheet, doing a site visit, troubleshooting production, or handling last-minute details on the ground
  • Resourceful and solutions-oriented, with the ability to create highly produced experiences within the realities of a fast-moving, entrepreneurial brand
  • Highly organized and comfortable independently managing multiple workstreams and moving pieces
  • Excellent relationship management, negotiation, communication, and production skills
  • Based in NYC and available for in-person meetings, site visits, production days, and events

Compensation

  • This is an independent contractor role. Compensation range is $60.00 to $85.00 per hour, depending on the chosen candidate's relevant qualifications and professional history.
