Responsibilities

  • Cold calling potential sales prospects and managing existing accounts; identifying and qualifying prospective customers; educating the customer; and developing and presenting sales quotes 

    and proposals to achieve assigned sales objectives

  • Selling products, solutions and services offered by our company in various accounts and territories as mutually agreed with management; and assisting in closing business as part of a team
  • Implement sales and marketing tactics and programs to meet or exceed sales objectives
  • Oversee all aspects of customer accounts. Including but not limited to, expediting purchase decisions, communicating project lead times, obtaining appropriate change orders, and assist with customer collections when necessary
  • Provide sales support, coordination, and planning throughout the entire pre and post-selling process
  • Responsible for providing sales forecast data to management team as needed


Requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience
    • Bachelors degree is preferred.
  • 3+ years experience providing consultative sales and customer support in AV/IT or a similar technology industry
  • Highly proficient with the use of Windows, MS Office, and customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in verbal and written communication, as well as active listening
  • Possess a comprehensive knowledge of AV/IT products, design, engineering, sales, and industry as a whole
  • Position offers flexibility in scheduling, recognizing that the primary focus is to establish mutually beneficial partnerships, deliver exceptional customer service, and achieve sales objectives
  • Requires occasional overnight travel for business purposes
