Qualifications:
- Up to 2 years of experience in sales, preferably in a service-oriented environment and the cybersecurity or IT industry
- Up to 2 years of experience in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools, preferably with Salesforce
- Bachelors degree or pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, or Computer Science preferred, or equivalent experience
- Strong knowledge of Google Suite (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Forms) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to identify, target, and nurture prospects through adept communication
- Ability to have technical conversations with C-level executives
- High degree of flexibility with the ability to work in a small, fast-paced environment
- Thorough and detail-oriented, organized, with excellent time management skills
- Ability to quickly learn, understand, and evaluate current and new tools
- Self-starter who can work independently with a proactive attitude
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit at a desk for long periods of time.
- Ability to clearly communicate with staff and customers through verbal and written communications.
- Ability to type, hand write, use computers and answer phones daily.
Duties & Responsibilities for each Accountability:
- Generate Leads & Close Sales
- Engage with prospects
- Interact with technology business prospects in-person, and via telephone and email to develop relationships
- Generate leads using specific and measurable activities such as calls, emails, meetings and networking etc.
- Cultivate trust and communication to increase sales conversion rate
- Drive outbound campaigns including targeted messaging to generate qualified meetings and opportunities
- Contribute to overall process and strategy to create demand for our services
- Identify and qualify target contacts using internal and external sources
- Perform target account research and gain an understanding of business needs
- Partner with key members of sales, marketing and management to develop target lists, contact strategies and messaging to ensure success
- Maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities for sales team members
- Coordinate, schedule and attend networking events to generate target leads
- Manage Leads in CRM
- Maintain Prospect Information
- Accurately enter, update, and maintain activity and prospect information in CRM, including comprehensive and up-to-date client information, interaction and next steps
- Engage with prospects
- Maintain Industry Knowledge
- Research market trends
- Learn and maintain comprehension products and services
- Deliver preliminary product and service sales messaging to targeted prospects to secure qualified leads
