Summary Objective
The purpose of this position is to perform senior-level administrative support work, which involves coordinating the dissemination of departmental and City information, developing filing systems, and coordinating internal administrative support work. Position relies on experience and exercises independent judgment to determine the best approach by using and interpreting policies and procedures. This class works under close to general supervision according to set procedures but determines how or when to complete tasks.
Minimum Qualifications
- Requires high school diploma or GED equivalent supplemented by specialized courses/training equivalent to completing one year of college.
- Four (4) years of administrative, clerical experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
